Idea

The reason why Mr. Wang Nenghong spent a huge amount of money to buy "Wangzhangfa" is not only that it is full of his childhood memories, but more importantly, he believes that it is a treasure left by his ancestors, and it is also the only remaining European-style classical building in Changhua City. Mr. Wang Nenghong hopes that this old house belongs to everyone. Therefore, he not only wants to keep the " Wangzhangfa", but also opens up the space to the outside world; as long as he returns to Changhua, he can visit this old house at any time, or just pass by. You can come in to sit and have a rest; he believes that this historical space is shared by everyone, and he also hopes to provide this space for some new artists to play and use. Only the ancient taste of the red brick and earthen corner house is combined with the modern and fashionable artistic atmosphere.

Situation

Although Wangzhangfa is not listed as a historic building by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Mr. Wang Nenghong hopes to preserve the old house, so he took the initiative to apply to the Cultural Bureau of Changhua County for renovation of the old house, hoping to revitalize the old house. Therefore, the current operating conditions are not for gold mining, but mainly It is hoped that someone will come to visit, let more people know about this old house, and let this old house have more new possibilities. Wangzhangfa has been refurbished and is currently transformed into an art and dining space. Currently, the first floor is divided into the front, the patio and the back. You can chat while sipping a drink, and after sitting for a long time, you can also take pictures online; the second floor is currently planned as an art exhibition space, and holds weekly activities, but now it is partially closed due to the COVID-19 epidemic , I believe it will be another scene after the epidemic.

Future Outlook

The third building where Wangzhangfa is located is currently only open to the public. The leftmost building is owned by Wang Nenghong. In the future, he hopes to renovate all three buildings together with the owners of the other two buildings, and develop together. Openness makes the three buildings more complete. At present, if three or two buildings are being planned, Wang Nenghong hopes to display some objects that can represent Changhua and sell related souvenirs, so that travelers who come to Changhua can get to know Changhua better through Wangzhangfa and deepen their understanding of Changhua impression.
