In the old house where Wangzhangfa is located, you can find building materials and construction methods including bamboo tube house, earthen corner house, red brick house, wooden building and archway house with Baroque facade. It may not be complete, but you can still learn from it. Peeking out the construction methods of different eras and classes, the whole building can be said to be the epitome of Taiwan's architectural history, and it also adds a kind of beauty that belongs to Wangzhangfa.

★Bamboo House--Bamboo Weaving

The white part in the middle and outside of the bamboo is lime.

★Earth Corner House--Adobe Bricks

It is made by mixing straw, cow dung and soil. Because it is cheap and easy to obtain, this building method was common in Taiwan in the early days. Some shell powder was also added to the earthen walls of the Wang family for aesthetic purposes. But it's a pity that there is only the last wall left in the Wang family.

★Red Brick House--Red Brick

A mixture of brownstone and clay found in the 19th century.
