Taiwan Sugar Refinery Industry - Museum of historical relics When I first arrived at Taiwan Sugar Museum, I saw that some of the buildings were left over from the past . The museum was full of historical materials and pictures. Mr. Zeng, a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide, said so .. After the detailed explanation by him , we knew better about the museum.
Mini-train Park The mini-train park , which is located outside the sugar museum. , keeps many mini-trains inside . The tour guide said that there are steam trains, Japanese-style, German-style and various kinds of locomotives in the park. Each locomotive has its own specialty.
The Great Chimney The height of the chimney inside the main factory was originally 70 meters tall . Unfortunately, only the base of 9 meters is left now. Although it is not as high and as long as it used to be, the 9 metered base remains magnificent.
Fu-Xin Elementary School Fu-Xin Elementary School was originally inside the Tai-Tang community , which was originally called "Tai-Tang 2nd branch for children of employees". After August , 1951 , Pingtung city was integrated into Pingtung County , and the school was therefore taken over and renamed as "Tai-Tang Substitute Elementary School.
Taiwan Sugar Refinery Industry - Ice Shop The ice shop inside the area has a lot of ice products . Despite the plain package not as beautiful as which in the supermarket , the products retain the taste of the old times . You can see popsicles or ice cream of many kinds of flavors. Outside the ice shop is also a carp pond, where you can eat popsicles and watch the carp swimming at the same time.
The Old Banyan Tree One of the huge trees in the Citizen Park was planted by Chiang Kai-shek,the former president of Taiwan.
The old banyan tree is almost one hundred years old, and there are many chairs and tables under it in the park, providing local residents with places to make tea, chat and play chess. I hope the banyan tree can stay here all the time.
Taiwan Sugar Refinery Industry -SupermarketTaiwan Sugar Industry Supermarket is located on Tai-Tang Street. It has always been a popular place for shopping in Pingtung City . It opened in 2003 , however , it made a loss in recent years . All of its branch stores closed in mid-june in 2019. The Tai-Tang supermarket officially withdrew from the mass market and was taken over by Carrefour.

Design exhibition experience

Today is October 5th. We visited the Taiwan design exhibition in the afternoon. As soon as we arrived at the county people's park, we saw a large performance stage and a band singing and dancing on it, trying to stir up the atmosphere. The exhibition area is divided into six sections. When you walk into the section, you can see the roller coaster. The first section, "pingdong thing", mainly introduces pingdong's agricultural products, including pineapples, red beans, cocoa, bananas, red quinoa and lemons. We went to see each exhibition area. The main thing that attracted me most was the dinosaurs and fish in the exhibition area of ping 'an village. The hands of the dinosaurs could move and there were also sound effects. Ping on village also has some of Pingtung's own traffic lights and the world's only "little green man proposal". Finally, we went to the "pingtung ya" exhibition area, which mainly displayed some local characteristics. There were seven doors at the entrance of the exhibition area, representing seven different ethnic groups in pingtung. Before each item, there was a sign with a bar code. After that, we went to "Pingtung system", pingdong system is pingdong four sightseeing factories, Tian-ming pharmaceutical sightseeing pharmaceutical factory, Tai-Jiou Pingtung sightseeing distillery, Wan-bao-lu enzyme sightseeing factory, Xian-zuan-dao seafood culture center, combined with the signature products of the four companies.
