●Creating Idea
1.Gan Jiang and Mo Ye are the names of a lovely couple in the past. Back in the ancient China, there was once the Wu king asked Gan Jiang to cast a sword for him, yet there happened to be a problem while casting the sword, and that’s the “water” in the steel could not come out while heating. Thus, Mo Ye asked his husband how could they solve the problem, and Gan Jiang replied, “Rumor has it that back in the early times, the master O-Ye-Zhi had also encountered the same problem, and he said that if a woman could be the god of the heating stove, then the problem shall be solved.”
Soon after that, Mo Ye jumped into the heating stove in order to help his husband solve this problem, and the water truly came out at the end. Although the story was already in the past, yet every time when people talked about the master of casting swords, they would often think of this couple. Hence, the couples’ name were then used as the sword’s name.
2.There was also another historical document recording this story, and that it indicated the sword of Gan Jiang has the turtle shell-like design on it, and that the sword of Mo-Ye has the hair-like design on it. This has become one of the focus on Master Kuo’s work.
