 ▲Support Taiwan Animal Protection Act

When does the activity “You Adopt and I Keep” begin? We haven’t heard of this before.

The activity “You Adopt and I Keep” has begun since February, 2003. In the beginning, only few people knew about this and it was affected by SARS. Thanks to the enthusiastic response and support from kind people, the activity had achieved its initial goal. It couldn’t arouse the public’s attention until the convenience store 7-11 provided the flyer about this activity and the mass media helped report it in June, 2003. Hope everyone can share this information and support it.

I Am For It!

The words from Wei-Ting:

“You Adopt and I Keep” is receptable. First, there may be not enough space for keeping a dog or the community doesn’t allow inhabitants to keep a pet. Second, taking care of a pet spends the owner lots of time. And I don’t have that much time, so I like this way to keep a dog. I need to pay six hundred dollars every month. Though I can’t afford it, my class can. There are thirty students in my class. Everyone needs to pay only twenty dollars every month. The dog will become our “class dog,” and get all my classmates’ love and caring. We can video chat with the dog to understand how it lives in our class meeting. What a great idea!

The words from Ying-Zhi:

It’s not easy to look after a furkid in such a busy life. The space is a big problem, too. Apartments and communities won’t allow inhabitants to keep furkids. Because of these factors, many people are unwilling to adopt one. “You Adopt and I Keep” is really a great way to solve these problems. In the film “Twelve Nights,” a superstar Sonia Sui also uses this way to express her love for the furkids. If you can afford it, everybody go!

The words from Meng-Zhen:

This is what I can do now. It’s just like donating money to the poor, but the receiver is a dog. In this way, the adoptive organization is very important. We need to pay attention to what ways our money is used on. Nowadays, Animal Protection Association of the Republic of China in Bali is well-known for its management. If you would like to adopt, you can contact the association.
