Artist Zhen De-Yong has worked on pottery making for 25years. Base on his educational background, he has learned the skills of art designing and painting which help him a lot on pottery design. The flower vases, tea utensil set, plates he made have a unique style which are quite different from others. Now he has a Hua-yian Pottery Art Studio in Donghau Street, Beitou. There are workshops for learners to work together to do pottery making. Learners from different fields with different working and living experiences are expected to meet each other here for lightening new ideas. He has his own way to contribute to the local pottery art and culture.

Mr. Zhen will use his own time with fine clay to create hills or rock, experimental articles is given by clay, colorful glaze, Zheng will deploy different proportions of glaze color for them, which also proved the teacher told myself: ask people to do more, if you just know it's the principle, but had to experiment, only hand-made, can really know the principle.

Today we went to visit Zheng De Yong teacher, entered the studio, I saw many of the teacher's students are doing pottery, cabinet also put a lot of large and small pottery, very artistic, so I think there is a teacher of arts foundation people.

Zheng is a teacher of pottery very emotional person, I also deeply appreciate the access to the efforts of Beitou pottery, ceramics Beitou want to save intentions, and then make it into a carry forward pottery art galleries.
