Artist Wang Mei-yun graduated from Department of History, Tunghai University. She has devoted to pottery making soon after graduation. Within these 30 years, she has done research not only on traditional Taiwanese pottery art, but also the art styles from Mainland China and Japan. Also she had stayed in New Zealand for a year, and traveled to Europe for many times, those experiences bring the western thinking into her art works. That's why we can see some of her art works with Northern Chinese masculine, and some of her art works with Japanese Zen Buddhism, and some of her art works with Western simplicity and elegance.
