Once all the pieces were finished, we required help from many people. As the pieces were very large, the teachers, parents, and all of us students had to work together to transport the pieces to the Shuangxi River like ants moving morsels of food. We formed a long time from the school to the riverside. I was very moved by this sight and felt almost like I was in a dream.
When placing our pieces, the teacher asked us to find the best location for our pieces, from the perspective of artists. We had to be very careful while putting our pieces down, as the giraffe was blown over by the wind and his ear was damaged a little. The complete piece was only available for display after the teacher helped us repair the damage.
I got more excited once the pieces were set up. I was so happy I could almost fly! Our hard work brought real results, and the sight was astounding. I felt very accomplished, and I think we really did a fantastic job!
