Ms. Lin guided us to the library to visit the open ceremony of calligraphy exhibition. I was very excited with this exhibition and expected to learn something. When I visited the exhibition, I found that some masterpieces are very “eccentric” which means they were written in different materials. I made a deep impression on Zhao Zong-song’s pleasant that looks like a flower in the morning. Then, we started our job sharing. Some were responsible for taking pictures; the others took the record, and another delivered the questionnaire. An uncle said “You guys were more professional than reporters!” We all laughed. What’s more challenge activity is to interview Liu Zu-xin, who has mastered in calligraphy for forty years. He said “I was interest in calligraphy when I was a child.” Liu is good at seal script and gets lots of prizes and now he teaches calligraphy at community college. I want to thank Ms. Lin, who gave us a precious experience to interview Liu and got extra knowledge. |

Today, we would attend a calligraphy exhibition and interview a master, Liu Zu-Xin. Thus, I was filled with excitement and a little nervous.
At the beginning, the principle briefly introduced our team. When we stood up and received with warm applause from the audience, I knew that we must do our best for Cyberfair contest. Then, we started our job sharing. It seems that joining the Cyberfair competition is not an easy task for us since we need to collect manifold information. But, we really mad an effort for this activity. When I viewed the works, I appreciated one of the painting, the fierce tiger, which gave me a sense of awesome strength. After dating, we went to interview Liu Zu-xin, a very amiable master. I asked him “What’s the most unforgettable thing in your calligraphy career?” He said “I usually practiced calligraphy at mid-night with the dim light when I lived at dormitory in school.” As a proverb says, “There is no royal road to learning”. I admired him for his efforts. And I hope I could get his guidance one day. |

In the morning, when I went to the Yuanlin Township Office, I saw lots of masters that I have ever seen before such as Zhwang Lian-peng, Xu Jin- fa and other artists. To my surprise, our principle is also a member of “Masters of Sulphur Creek”.I appreciated that they dedicated themselves to art and calligraphy.
In the afternoon, we continue interviewing another calligrapher, Liu Zu-Xin. He shared his experience in the process of learning calligraphy and reminded us many tips about calligraphy. “You can get benefit from infinite when you’re writing calligraphy.” He exhorted us. I got a sense of achievement when I was doing research. Besides, I would try to broaden my horizons when I have a chance to interview these masters. |
