About Hair Donation
Why does the Foundation need people donate their hair?
In Taiwan, one cancer case is found every 7 minutes. During chemotherapy, patients could lose their hair. This change causes bad impacts on cancer patients' mood and self-confidence. So the Foundation collects hair to make wigs for patients. It provides every patient with wigs for free once. It hopes that patients are willing to step outdoors with beautiful hair.
Why does the Foundation make wigs of real hair rather than artificial ones?
Most of the wigs in the market are made of chemical materials. They are uncomfortable to wear. However, real-haired wigs are well ventilated and look natural.
Real-haired wigs are natural and soft.
