Mr. De-Liang Kuo scholarship for the poor

Mr. De-Liang Kuo, passed honor soldier from Peng-Hu County, gave his last wills to donate 1.17 million dollar for establishing a scholarship for the poor, in order to helping the students from the poor families. He left his love to take action for goods and touch all his friends' hearts.

The passed honor soldier, Mr. De-Liang Kuo, was born in Hui-An, Fu-Jian in 1925. He followed his troop and came to Taiwan . He was retired in 1970 and lived in Peng-Hu ever since. He saved all his money on food and expense usually but he had a great enthusiasm for goods, especially things concerned about children. When he was old and had diseases, he lived into Hui-An Catholic Hospital. Also, he received all the helps and care from different people and this touch his heart. He decided to donate his money to set up a scholarship for the poor. He passed away in 2002. Ma-Gong Catholic Church chose eighteen students from poor families and awarded them with this scholarship in this year in order to accomplish Mr. Kuo's last wish.

The Last Wish of Mr. Liu-Guan Zhon, to benefit all his friends

Mr. Liu-Guan Zhong, passed honor soldier from Peng-Hu County , had strong feelings on the helps and cares from the leader of steward team in the troop, team members, instructors, and volunteers. In order to show his appreciation, he donated 0.83 million to the foundation of dependents of honor soldiers for help more fellow citizens.

The passed honor soldier, Mr Zhong, was moved by the dependents of Xiang family for their cares. He also bequeath 0.80 million dollars to the son of Xiang family for education funds. Mr. Zhong left his great love and the office of honor soldier and service in Peng-Hu County took his last will and finished all the procedure.

Mr. Yuan-Jing Lv donates to build statues

Mr. Yuan-Jing Lv, passed honor soldier from the rest house of honor soldiers in Yun-Lin, gave his wills to donate 1.43 million dollar to Dou-Liu city hall. The money should be allocated to building a statue of a shepherd boy playing flute on the back of a cow in Zhong-Shan Park . The manager of the rest house followed Mr.'s wills to donate the money to Dou-Liu city hall. The mayor, Mr. He-Ping Chang, is on the behalf of Dou-Liu city to receive this money. Mayor Chang said “they will complete Mr. Iv's last wish with honor. At this point, the city is planning and taking care of all the issues of building the statue in order to show the love for this land from the honor soldier.
