Kan-Do Plain is an alluvial plain in the Taipei basin. The west low land is situated on the joint of Keelung and Tamshui River. Swamp formed due to rising tide sediments and organic deposits. Inside the Kan-Do Embankment you will find water farms.
Vegetations found in the south of Guan-Do Nature Park are composed mainly of reed, and Kandelia, different vegetations inside the embankments becomes the producer of the food chain the ecosystem of this region.

Rubber can be made from the milk of the cortex, tough lightweight shells outside the seed this design enables the seed to float on sea surface, florescence from autumn to spring, light green corolla found. 

Protophyte of the north, east and south coast region of Taiwan, usually planted in gardens or as shade trees on the road. Lumbers used for building. Eatable fruit, barks can be used as natural dye, branches are often used as flower arrangement materials.

Poisonous fruit, fatal if eaten. White milky substances in the plant, upon maturing, the egg size seed becomes red which is  rich in oil.

Suitable for windbreak and gardening. Can be planted as pioneers on sandy land, it changes the soil environment, and the moisture retention rate of the soil.

Their drupes are scarcely found on the other level ground trees, their seed will float on water. Oral shape and smooth leaves. Fragranced white flowers with 4 petals. Ball shaped green drupe that is about 3cm in diameter.  

Fine and hard lumber, thus best used for furniture.

Feature

Undergoes dramatic changes occurring to different seasons, the drupes are oval in shape with a length of 5-6cm and a width of 4cm, it looks very similar to olives.

Fiber pericarp, that floats on water.

The drupe is rich in oil, eatable oil extract. Good windbreak tree. The leaves can be used for tea.

Feature

Oval leave with silver posterior, it is leather in texture. Polygamy with florescence from April to May, bell-shaped male flowers with long tube like pistils, fruit season from June to October. Light weighted seed that floats on sea surface.
