The current chairperson of the Daqiao Community Development Association is Ms. Tsai Hsiu-Feng. She is from Wuri, Taichung, and her husband is a resdent of Dacun Township. She moved to Dacun because of the marriage. When she first arrived, the community environment was very messy and disorganized. However, she believed that since we all live here, we should take responsibility for cleaning up our living environment and making it clean and beautiful. This idea sounds simple, but it needs everyone's effort. She hoped that the young generation could get involved in the community to make them develop well . Thus, the community will get better and better.

When Chairperson Tsai first came to the Daqiao community, she couldn't speak Taiwanese. However, after getting involved in community development, she learned to speak Taiwanese and learned a lot about the local culture and experiences of the Daqiao community. The elders were willing to teach her Taiwanese and share their experiences. The elders might not be educated as us, but they have a wealth of life experiences and wisdom. Therefore, people of different ages can communicate and learn from each other through community activities to increase group cohesion. She believes the residents can improve the community by working together. The Community Development Association plans to launch more activities such as garbage removal, tree planting, activities for children, community cultural festivals, etc. These are for promoting community development and improving the residents' lives. She hopes that children can understand the history and culture of the community where they grow up through these activities.
