Why we start it?

One member of our group, Yu-Hsuan, once got a dislocation of her leg because of walking on an uneven pedestrian arcade, which inspired us to launch the project. Actually, accidents happening in the pedestrian arcade is a problem having tortured residents in Taiwan for a long time. However, people seem to have gotten used to it, since our government could not do much about it.

Nevertheless, we ponder that Taiwan, an island moving forward to a status of a developed country, shouldn’t ignore the problem anymore.

The goal of this project is to raise public awareness of arcade safety, and to urge the government to act their role in arcade leveling, thus bringing a safer, friendlier place for the elders, disabled and all the residents to walk by.
