Introduction

Pingtung county government has done a lot of construction on the village culture , such as preserving the relics , renovating old houses, establishing cultural and creative parks, etc., but not all the places can fully contain the core concept of its history.

We interviewed the volunteers, "what do you think of these preserved buildings and artifacts?""The government does not have a long-term plan for the relics that have been preserved," said the volunteer.

After the interview , our team found that the Victory New Village is getting prosperous and believes that the preservation work will be better if people work together.

People mainly think of noodles when it comes to Military Dependants' Village. In the early days, Taiwanese seldom ate noodles, most of which were rice. If we can hold a creative pasta competition in a place full of cultural atmosphere of the village, it would be the best choice!

There were no actual activities to make noodle for "Handmade Cuisine" and "Creative Noodle Competition" . We think we'd have more fun in cooking and immerse ourselves in the making process.

Taiwan has a huge number of tourists every year, and we tend to increase different languages on the website, and the visitors can choose their own language while browsing, which meets their demand.

The Original Appearance

The villages have important historical significance to development of Taiwan for half a century.However, with the development of economy, the government has over-modernized the villages and preserved the original appearance of the settlements, which not only provides a place for future generations to find their roots and know Taiwan's modern history, but also has considerable tourism benefits.

Establish the Cultural Relic Museum

Sheng-li New Village hasn't had a specific cultural relic museum now. For the two reasons : the gradually losing population and the urban plan, most of the villages will eventually be demolished. If a cultural museum can be established, it will be able to preserve the items related to the village as soon as possible, so that everyone can travel through time and feel the life of the time.
