After thoughts on Cyberfair project    Yi-hsuan Weng

I joined Cyberfair project with the attitude of fond of learning this year. For the daily things in our life, I had high interest only if there was an opportunity to read and learn, especially that we followed teachers to have a deep discussion about my homeland, and we hoped the beauty of Yuanlin Township would be appreciated and known by more people by the way of Cyberfair in the land with deep human kindness.

 

There was beautiful Baiguo Mt. in Zhong town, Changhua County, Yuanlin Township, and we interviewed Guang Tian Temple in Baiguo Mt.. I had great thanks for Mr. Weng and the secretary-manager in Guang Tian Temple because they introduced the history of Baiguo Mt. to us. Besides, we enjoyed the fresh and juicy carambola on the back of Baiguo Mt.. You are advised to have a visit to the longest children’s slide in China, and the re-built Cream Manor, which made the place colorful as there were lots of animals. The walkway of Tengshan Hiking Trail, Greatwall Hiking Trail, Liangbaikan Trail, Sibaikan Trail and so on were included, which made busy and tired person relaxed in a place healthy and appropriate to have a rest.

 

It was my great honor to interview Town Mayor Chin-kun Chang, and I got the idea of the building plan of the town even though I was a little nervous at the beginning. I knew the convenience of U-bike in Yuanlin Township, and the ever-inconvenient construction of elevated highways was improved. The changes above made inlanders and sightseeing tourists feel the development of Yuanlin. We did not only go sightseeing, but also enjoyed the famous chicken feet galantines, meat dumpling, salty cake and preserved fruit, peanut brittle and coffee, well-known products in present-giving festival. Without following the Cyberfair project team, we would not know that it was such a lucky to grow in Yuanlin Township, with flourishing and natural ecology, delicious snacks and deep human kindness. I could not help saying how nice Yuanlin people were!

After thoughts on Cyberfair project    Chien-yu Chen

It was our first time to make the Cyberfair project on January 22, and we were prepared to apply for in the second day. Although the typewriting work was made by me in the past days, we did the work respectively in later time, which made me relaxed for a while.Deep within me, the most unforgettable thing was the interview of town mayor because it was the first time for us to see Town Mayor Chin-ken Chang ofYuanlin Township.

 

In that day, we prepared many questions, and each of us asked one question respectively.Certainly, we went to climb Tengshan Hiking Trail, Liangbaikan Trail, and Sibaikan Trail.Besides, we were surprised to play the longest and happy children’s slide, and also interviewed Mr. Weng and Mr. Chen in Guang Tian Temple.

 

Town mayor said that the preserved fruit produced in Yuanlin has been sold to the United States, and I couldn’t help thinking how wonderful our presents were.

                  

 

After thoughts on Cyberfair project   Wei-cheng You

Since the participation of Cyberfair project, I had been brave to do it and became relaxed under the encouragement and guidance of my father, teachers and directors though I was surprised and hesitated and was afraid of being not qualified for the work.

 

At the beginning of the activity, we knew nothing about Cyberfair project. However, under the teachers’ patient teaching, we had known some point. In the first day, we learned how to divide the theme into several sections, which were allocated to each person. After that, teachers began to teach us how to search for related data on the internet and make preliminary arrangement. At the beginning, I did not know what kind of materials should be chosen concerning about the collected data, and I learned the method of processing the data and knew the point under the help of my father and teachers.

 

From the time I took part in Cyberfair project, the most unforgettable thing was the explorations on the spot and the interview, which could not be learned in classroom. This experience enriched my learning process and made learning more interesting.

The Exploration Process of I-chan Lo~

Before I took part in Cyberfair project, I knew nothing about computers, which were mainly used by my elder sister even though there was on in my room. The time when the letter of notice sent by our school to allow me to take part in Cyberfair project, my aunt, brother of my mother, signed it because my parents were out abroad. The number of participation was few, six in total, with three girls and three boys, coming from Grade 5 Class 12 and Grade 5 Class 15. I had known these students before.

 

At the beginning, teachers tought us how to appreciate the past works of Cyberfair on the internet, and I was in a dizzy while looking at so many topics and contents, which I thought needed to be done in a large amount of time. Would I become tired? However, the time of being confused was not too long and we were very busy practicing computers in the next day. We allocated the work, searched for data, classified and arranged, and made preparations for the interview materials and arranged travels and so on. Until the time we began to have the outdoor teaching interview, we had learned much knowledge.

We also interviewed town mayor, experienced delicious snacks and introduced the commercial industry in Yuanlin, and explored the past and old place names as well as the history of development. In the last day, we brought and shared various kinds of famous snacks, and did the final report. Deep within me, this experience was of great worth. I typewrite very fast now even though I did not know how to operate the keyboard before.

 

 Besides, I learned much knowledge, searched for data on the internet, interviewed others, organized webpage and made websites, and we also knew many plants and animals in Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail, even the number of stairs in Baiguo Mt.. Everything was so funny and I was appreciative for Mr. Cao and other teachers to give us the opportunity to take part in Cyberfair project. ~

 

 

The Exploration Process of  Yu-ling Lo

I remembered the time before I took part in Cyberfair project, and I had little opportunity to learn computers. Until the end of the third month-examination, the approaching time of the expecting winter holiday, my elder brother and I lived in the house of my aunt, brother of my mother, as my parents were out in England. Just at that time, the notice letter came and my aunt thought that I should have a try, and in his mind, my mother would also want to allow us to take part in.

 

On January 22, we met for the Cyberfair project. At that time, we entered the computer classroom nervously and excitedly. There were six members in Cyberfair project. Two girls and one boy came from Grade 5, Class 15, and Class 12, grade 5, which was just on the contrary with our class, with one girl and two boys. I knew five of the members in Cyberfair project. From that day on, we all used our lunch breaks every day and every morning in winter vacation to prepare the data for the Cyberfair project.

 

In this Cyberfair project, we designed many kinds of activities, such as walking the famous walkways in Baiguo Mt., having a taste of delicious food in Yuanlin Township and interviewing town mayor, and we needed to make reports and wrote after thoughts and diaries every day. What’s more, we needed to learn to make data classifications and webpage making. Although it was very tired some time, especially playing computers because my typewriting speed was very slowly and had to typewrite for a quite long time, all the efforts were worthy and I am looking forward to our final work of Cyberfair project.
