20150129   Diary of Baiguo Mt. Guang Tian Temple (by Yi-hsuan Weng):

Today we went to Guang Tian Temple and visited Mr. Weng and Mr. Chang. According to the interview result, we found there were many activities in Guang Tian Temple, such as coloring lanterns, drawing pictures and sketching from nature and so on, which were very meaningful.

After visiting the cherry walkway in Guang Tian Temple, we found a grandpa selling carambola. The grandpa invited us to have a taste of his milk carambola. Although the color was a little light, it tasted special, which was sweet and juicy while eating.

Later, we went to the longest children¡¦s slide in Taiwan to play, which was very funny, and we also saw people drying preserved fruit with very sweet flavor, which even made me watering. Then we went to Cream Manor, we saw camel and llama, very cute, and all of us were rushing to take photos with them, as if we saw big stars.

Today, we learned so much funny things near Guang Tian Temple, making us continue exploring and also broadening our envision. What a good place it was! I want to come here for a second time.

2015. 1. 29   Interview Diary of Baiguo Mt. Guang Tian Temple (by Yi-lin Tsai):

Today we went to Guang Tian Temple to visit Mr. Chin-hsiung Weng and Mr. Chang under the guidance of the director, and we all asked many questions which were later answered by the director and the secretary-general. We found that there were many activities in Guang Tian Temple, such as, sketching activity of Baiguo Mt. and competitions of coloring lanterns, which were very meaningful activities.

After that, the director took us to have a visit of cherry in the back mountain, and we saw a grandpa selling cherry on the way. The grandpa allowed us to experience the good pleasure of picking cherry, and then we bought several cherry <very tasty>!

Then we went to play the longest and happy children¡¦s slide in Taiwan, go! What a

cool thing!

February 2^nd    Diary of Tengshan Hiking Trail  

Today we went to Tengshan Hiking Trailand, and three teachers, Teacher Chen, Teacher Li, and Teacher Huang guided us to know something about the environment as well as introduced many plants.On our way there, we saw a kind of small, round and red fruit, being very cute, and many beautiful plants, such as Kant, blood tung and acacia rachii and so on. I was thankful for teachers¡¦ introduction

After that, we went to Greatwall Hiking Trai and saw many litchi trees. We only walked thirty stairs, or it would be too late to go to Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail.

We walked in the Liangbaikan Trail when we went upstairs and we walked in the Sibaikan Trail when we went downstairs. What a tired travel! In the top of Liangbaikan Trail, there were tea eggs being sold, which was vey delicious.

There were 436 stairs when we went downstairs in the Sibaikan Trail, if you were wonder why I was so sure about the number of the stairs, please to count the stairs like me.

We had an interview in the spot in Tengshan Hiking Trail with a happy mood at 8:40, February 2. We invited Teacher Ming-chuan Huang, Teacher Jin-chuan Li, and Teacher Yan-chuan Chen to introduce the characteristics of Tengshan Hiking Trail.

On the way, we knew about many plants, such as acacia rachii, jequirity, big mandala, sweet flower, dicranopteris pedata, tung flower, Chinese tallow tree, chromolaeno odorata, Kang, blood tung, peaches and so on, among which the most interesting one was blood tung, because it would outflow red flood, which broadened my horizon. We also knew the classification of the prototype and the alien plants. Teachers also guided us to learn the slang along the walkway, such as: burning the fishing net (hopelessness), duckling of mid-July (acting recklessly), scary crow saving the fire (being unable even to fend for oneself), throwing an egg across the hill (come to a realization), grasshopper teasing the cock (asking for trouble), always leave some for the relationship (for future encountering). The wisdom of our ancestors was very interesting and we took photos with Teacher Jin-chuan Li when we were leaving Tengshan Hiking Trail.

Then we came to Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail and counted the stairs together under the guidance of curiosity and the director. Finally we found there were more than 200 stairs in Liangbaikan Trail, but there were 436 stairs in Sibaikan Trail. At about twelve o¡¦clock, all of us left there and drove to Yuanlin Elementary School to finish this activity of educational meaning.

The Interview Diary in Tengshan Hiking Trail, Greatwall Hiking Trail, Sibaikan Trail and Liangbaikan Trail :

 Today we went to Tengshan Hiking Trail, Greatwall Hiking Trail, Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail. At the beginning, we went to Tengshan Hiking Trail and Tengshan Hiking Trail, where many goods were sold, such as, banana, steamed bun, and so on. While climbing Tengshan Hiking Trail, we spent much time although there

only walked not many stairs. We were taught while walking, and we also saw small, round, and red fruit along the road. Besides, we picked fruit naughtily and put it in others¡¦ clothes when we found there was no poison in the small fruit.

Then we went to Greatwall Hiking Trail, here you should note that the Greatwall was not the Great Wall in China, but the Greatwall Hiking Trai in Yuanlin, from where we could see many litchi trees along the road. However, we just walked 50 stairs, only a very short time, because the teacher said that there would be no enough time to go to Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail.

The last places were Sibaikan Trail and Liangbaikan Trail. The teacher said we walked in the Liangbaikan Trail upstairs and walked in the Sibaikan Trail downstairs. We saw good-tasty oranges and ate tea eggs on our way to Liangbaikan Trail. We walked the stairs all the way back and counted the stairs, 436 in total. I had a very good day today.

Tengshan Hiking Trail, Diary:

Today we went to climb Tengshan Hiking Trail, and we found three teachers taking part in our outdoor teaching when we got together, they were: Teacher Chen, Teacher Li, and Teacher Huang. On our way there, teachers introduced the seed of tung tree which was used as candle in ancient times, the ferry dicranopteris pedata, the Chinese tallow tree in mainland Taiwan, the sweet flower which smelled like fired electric wire, and what tree did the jequirity bean belong to. At the beginning, people said it was fruit of the jequirity tree, but actually it was the fruit of circassian bean told by our teacher. I also put sedum stahlii on a person¡¦s back, and I felt very funny. Finally, the teacher gave each of us a piece of union welfare card.

After leaving Tengshan Hiking Trail, we went to Greatwall Hiking Trail in Baiguo Mt., where there were Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail. We walked from Liangbaikan Trail, and played on a swing when we went upstairs. The teachers also invited us to eat tea eggs, and we saw pawpaw trees and people singing. Besides, we took photos together in the top of the trail. The number of the stairs was 436 in total, written on the stairs. We counted the number of stairs when going downstairs, and it was really 436. After walking downstairs, we took photos and then went home. What a fresh and funny outdoor teaching today!

We went to Tengshan Hiking Trail on February 2 under the companion of parents. The tutor also invited three teachers, they were: Teacher Jin-chuan Li, Teacher Ming-chuan Huang, Teacher Yan-chuan Chen.

We knew lots of plants on the way, such as, the acacia rachii, the larger head tea, dicranopteris pedata and sweet flower and so on. You could have a look there if time was available.

After that, we went to Liangbaikan Trail and Sibaikan Trail. We were all tired after we walked down from Liangbaikan Trail. We had a rest for a while, and then walked to Sibaikan Trail. (We could walk directly from Liangbaikan Trail to Sibaikan Trail)

We thought we would go upstairs and it was to our surprise that the phenomenon was on the verse. We bought tea eggs on the half way and went to have a happy travel there.

People were eating tea eggs when they went downstairs.

Later, we went to Greatwall Hiking Trail to see taro dumpling which we saw before.

The learning Experience of Interviewing Town Mayor (Yi-hsuan Weng)

We followed teachers to visit town mayor and I practiced the contents frequently which would be interviewed the next day. The members in Cyberfair project arrived on time, and I wondered whether they would begin the interview nervously and excitedly like me.

The busy atmosphere in town mayor¡¦s office made me energetic. Therefore, I had to muster my energy and asked several questions about the plans of future Yuanlin Township and its culture. It was surprised that town mayor was more kind than I imagined, which made me calm down gradually. After being a half day interviewer, we found the preparations made before the interview was much more than the interview process. We were lucky to make enough preparations and then we could accomplish the task fluently

After the interview, town mayor sent us the preserved fruit, famous snacks produced in Yuanlin and U bike first issued traveling card. We felt as if we witnessed Town Mayor Chin-kun Chang guiding Yuanlin Township to have a new horizon while watching the running train. Therefore, the progress and development of Yuanlin Township began rapidly.

The Learning Experience of Interviewing Town Mayor (Yu-ling Lo)

Today we would go to interview town mayor, so we got together in Yuanlin Elementary School in early morning for the preparation of the interview. However, the teachers said that we could not interview town mayor in Yuanlin Township Office before 10 a.m., so we went to play computer in a computer classroom. Two people were there when we entered the computer classroom. We started off excitedly when all of us got together.

Because Yuanlin Township Office was near the school, we decided to go there by walk. Several minutes later, Yuanlin Township Office had been in front of us. When arriving at the town hall, our teacher said to the counter service personnel that we had made an appointment with town mayor at 10 a.m. and then the counter service personnel took us to Yuanlin Township Office.

I was very nervous when arriving at Yuanlin Township Office. Just at that time, the service personnel told us to sit down and wait for the coming of town mayor. However, after a long period of time, we did not see town mayor. Then a beautiful lady with two plates of cookies came near and said that town mayor was busy and we needed to wait for some time, and we could have some cookies before town mayor arrived.

Several minutes¡¦ later, we saw town mayor finally. Then a student representing us said: ¡§Hello, honorable town mayor! We show many thanks for you to accept our interview in your busy time.¡¨ Another classmate asked questions after that, and then we asked questions according to the order practiced before. Finally, town mayor made photos with us and gave each of us a traveling card and a bag of preserved fruit.

I found today a really funny day.

We went to interview town mayor on February 5^th. All of us were nervous when we entered the office. After that, as town mayor had other things to deal with, we waited for a long time. We said hi to town mayor after he arrived, and then began to ask questions to town mayor.

In the end, after we asked questions, it was to our surprise that town mayor sent first issued traveling card to each of us, and we had clam noodle before going back.We also took some photos in the Police Story Studio.    

The Diary of Having an Interview with Town Mayor (Yi-lin Tsai)

Today we walked from Yuanlin Elementary School to the town hall, and we firstly said hi to town mayor and then asked questions. The first question was the characteristics of Yuanlin Hiking Trail, second was the promotion of walkway sightseeing activities third was the plans of Yuanlin industry and walkway, fourth was the recommendation of delicious snacks in Yuanlin and other questions.

After the interview, town mayor gave each of us a first issued U-bike card, on which there was a Yuanlin Train Station welcoming New Hope, and preserved fruit. At last, town mayor took photos with us, and we left town hall.

The Police Story Studio was behind the town hall, where we took a photo under the printing board in the entrance and then we went out. Later we went to have the long-expected clam noodle together. We ordered clam noodle, small dishes and salty clams, and began to eat when the dishes came. It was so delicious that we ate them up. Finally we went back Yuanlin Elementary School after finishing the delicious food.

Interview with Town Mayor Chin-ken Chang (Wei-cheng You)

Members of Cyberfair project team were very happy, and we walked to town hall in early morning to visit Town Mayor Chin-ken Chang.

At the beginning, we were very nervous. Luckily, Mr. Chang was so kind that we became relaxed after a while. We asked Mr. Chang some questions, such as: ¡§For Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail, will town hall promote some related sightseeing activities? ¡§Does town mayor have other plans for the industry in this town?¡¨ ¡§What characteristics does Baiguo Mt. Hiking Trail have?¡¨ There were also other questions, which were answered and explained by Mr. Chang patiently.

At noon, we were all hungry, and then we had lunch in the store of clam noodle, one of the delicious snacks in Yuanlin. While enjoying the delicious food in front of us, we talked about today¡¦s interview, and exchanged the after thoughts with each other, which made today¡¦s interview activities full of harvest.
