The Wu Temple consisted of two entrances, and a layout which consisted of a
San-Ch’uan Tien, a main hall and wing-rooms on each side. On the other side
the Wen Kai Academy consisted of a Main entrance, wing-rooms on each side,
front hall, lecture hall, and a rear hall. There is a shrine between the Wen
and the Wu temples and within the shrine is a hu-jing which was said to be
the best fountain of penglai. Sadly it had been sealed for ages and left
only its fame. On the contrary, the semi pond in front of the temple with
its shades of trees had become a resting place for its visitors.
