To catch the happy scene of New Year, we came to Yongkang Business district on New Year’s Eve to experience the crowded lively atmosphere. Now, just follow us to see the crowds and the business brought by Xinyi MRT line!

The Yongkang Business district was expectedly crowded very much; we were almost overwhelmed as well. In addition, when we saw the people who were standing in front of the beverage shops but looking for food, we just realized that most shops extend the open time because of the New Year’s Eve; the bright scene is very interesting. Let’s took a look!

 

Why were they here? They were volunteers who came to have an event to celebrate the New Year! The event should be very interesting since everyone responded lively with a lot of curiosity.

 

You can tell that everyone expected New Year very much since everyone looks so happy! Look at our member, Yu-Huan (the left first one). This is his first time to attend New Year’s Eve event. He was so scared by the crowds when he saw the lines entering the MRT station.

 

We founded an interesting scene: the crowded streets vs. the empty Yongkang park. Everyone walked to the crowded streets with their night snacks to wait for the 101 firework show. To our surprise, we also saw the photographers from TV station!

 

At the break of the fieldwork, we went to Cavaralli to take a rest, have a cup of hot stuff, and turned on our laptop to type what we saw. The New Year Eve’s atmosphere was very good when we sat in the café with our won hot stuffs.

 

Back to the street, we were still enjoyed the New Year’s Eve although the weather was very cold. We walked around and took pictures. At the end of 2013, we had a good ending and a wonderful memory.
