Questionnaire for Parents

To get to know how the parents think of their children joining the “ Xisong Rhythm Band ”, we have designed a questionnaire for the parents. There are 50 members in the Band.We have got 44 questionnaires back.The overall response rate is considerable !It should be easy for sorting the degree of the parents’ thoughts .

Female parents are more than male parents.

Most of the parents are between the ages 40 to 49.The percentage of the parents whose ages are from 30 to 39 is 18%.The parents who are over 50 years old are the least.

The percentage of the bachelor's degree is 60 , the most.The percentage of the degree of senior high school is 27 , the second.he percentage of the master's degree is 11 , the third.The percentage of the degree of junior high school is 2 , the fourth.

The percentage of the service industry is 30% , the most.The percentage of other kinds of job is 26% , the second. The percentage of Housewife is 23% , the third.

All the parents like music.

45% of the parents like the pop music.38% of the parents like the classical music.12% of the parents like the jazz music.5% of the parents like the rock' n ' roll.

22% of the parents are good at playing piano ; 19% of the parents are good at playing guitar ; 6% of the parents are good at playing percussion instrument ; 3% of the parents are good at playing Harmonica .

Three-fourths of the parents have ever heard the performance of the rhythm band.A quarter of the parents haven't .

87% of the parents don't think the results of the children's other curricula would be influenced if they join the rhythm band.13% of the parents think so.

The majority of the parents are satisfied with the result of this contest .

Each member talks about the rhythm band with his parents.

The whole parents will continue to support their kids in attending the rhythm band .

Most parents will aid the rhythm band with money if necessary.

35% of the members come to like music more.17% of the members come to like singing more.10~13% of the members have better charisma and relations with people. 2~4% of the members come to have good EQ and good attitude in class.13% of the members have nothing changed.Only 3% of the members become naughtier.There is not any student who feels frustrated.
