Born in 1971, Chi-Wen Chen started to learn martial arts for the purpose of strengthening the body in his childhood. He began by joining the martial art team of the elementary school, where by chance he joined the system of “Guang” generation under Master Yun-Qiao Liu. Graduated from the university, he continued to learn under Mr. Chao-Hua Ji as the fifth generation of disciple in Ji’s Ba-Ji-Quan.

 


Chen is currently a national martial art coach and a referee; he is also CEO of the Chinese Martial Art Research & Development Association (President of its New Taipei City branch) and chief referee in national martial art contests like the Chinese Martial Art Cup, the Danshui Daoshen Cup, the National Elite Cup and the Taipei City Youth Cup.
