Chao-Hua Ji was born in 1959. His great grandfather, Yun-Lung Ji, was known as the founder of Ji’s Ba-Ji-Quan; his father, His-Pin Ji, was a policeman who set foot on Taiwan from China with the government and had started as sergeant till finally being a deputy director-general of the National Police Agency. Though Chao-Hua Ji did not learn Ba-Ji-Quan since childhood, he is a natural martial art lover and had once practiced Taekwondo. It was not until the time of university that his father noticed in him the liking of martial art and brought him to Yun-Qiao Liu, then the chief aide-de-camp to the President, to learn martial art.

Mr. Ji founded the “Chinese Martial Art Research & Development Association” in recent year, also serves as its president to promote enthusiastically martial art and Ba-Ji-Quan.
