I thought 38 surveys would be easy, but I just realized it took us a while and we are exhausted!

Port Tea questionnaire statistic, we designed a survey about Port Tea and asked residents and students of a certain region to look at how much they recognized Port Tea.

We asked total of 38 people consists of 20 adults and 18 children. The result has been itemized below.

1.Do you know the origin of PortTea?

ANS: Yes: 15 (people) No: 22 Well, a little: 1

Result analysis: Of the students, patriarch, and school teachers in Manjhou village, there are 22 people do not know the origin of the Port Tea. The percentage is about 58 percent, and we think the rate is actuary very low.

2.Do you think it’s proper to grow tea in such a place like Manjhou village?

ANS: I don’t know: 10 Yes: 24 No: 4

Result analysis: In fact, the wind off the mountain in Manjhou village in winter is cold and strong; also, it’s hot in summer. It should not be fit for growing tea, but about 63 percent think it’s proper to grow tea. We think there are a wide range of students and residents have incorrect concept.

3.Does Harbor Tea taste something special?

ANS: Couldn’t sleep: 1 It won’t be astringent: 1 I don’t know: 15 Bitter: 10 Sweet: 3 haven’t drawn: 6 Strong: 2

Result analysis: The majority knows the taste of the Port Tea, but something strange is that there are even some people haven’t drawn yet.

4.Why Port Tea called crossbreed tea?

ANS: I don’t know: 35 Mix with other tea: 2 It’s not pure: 1

Result analysis: Over 92 percent don’t know about the story of Port Tea, it means almost everyone do not know the reason why Port Tea so called crossbreed tea.

5.What is Port Tea? What is Pouchong Tea? What is Oolong Tea? What is Green Tea? What is Black Tea?

ANS: I don’t know: 29 They all are tea: 3 Wuyi Tea: 2 A kind of tea: 1 Composition is different: 1 Yes, I know how to distinguish them: 2

Result analysis: To the name of tea, there are also 76 percent of people who doesn’t know. We should replenish some related knowledge about the tea.

6.What should people pay attention when they brew the Port Tea?

ANS: Type of bearable brewing time:4 people, Water temperature:5 people, No idea:20 people, The first brew cannot be drank:5 people, The brewing time:3 people, It has to be use with cold water to brew:1 people

Results: Many people don’t know how to brew the Harbor Tea and we should publicize the right way to brew the Harbor Tea.
