1. What’s you impression of HePing River? Please describe.

Ms. Guo JinHua: I went there to pick up woods and brought them to school.  Although, I couldn’t make much money by this, I could still help.  There was no mining business in the past.  We took a field trip there with some rice balls in our childhood, and we ate them when we felt tired and hungry.  We played in the river; the water was very cold.  Because of the pollution problem now, I only took the children to AoHua Waterfall.

2. When was the last time you went to HePing River? with whom? and did what?

Ms. Guo JinHua: I can’t remember.

(3. The HePing River You Know (How much do you know about BiHai Construction of TaiPower?)

Ms. Guo JinHua: People working there take records of sandstone trucks.  People in the community make meals and desserts for workers at BiHai Hydropower Plant.

4. What do you think is the impact of HePing River to the residences in the community?

Ms. Guo JinHua: It is now prohibited fishing and swimming.  The water became rapid and filthy, and people can only swim in other rivers.

5. What is your expectation to future HePing River?

Ms. Guo JinHua: It is hard for me to imagine there is Community Development Association of AoHua Waterfall.  I hope we have such an organization here, and the children can go to the river and play with no charges.
