The Natural Orientation — Green Energy Tree House
 


The strength came from Nature.

Said Uncle Huang, my ultimate objective was to make Er-Kong Tree House even more sustainable, to enable wind power, solar energy to be the house’s electricity power source.

Broadcasting old songs for the people who come to rest, Er-Kong Tree House sometimes would light several small lamps to illuminate the tree room and the corners. Uncle Huang hoped that he could use the power more from nature energy to match up the initial aspect, the resource recycling, of Tree House. If the electric power source of the Er-Kong Tree House was able to defer to such blueprint, it would be more approaching Uncle Huang’s perfect dream.

Er-Kong Tree House appeared another kind of unique character at night.
 

Although the idea looked like to be limited in fund and equipment and with high difficulty at present, it was Uncle Huang’s ultimate objective. “Natural is the best”, said Uncle Huang smilingly.

“I hoped to set several Er-Kong Tree House classrooms”, Uncle Huang pointed at Tree House corners all around. Along with the age growth, Uncle Huang’s dream was not only the establishment and decoration of a Tree House, but also set up the classrooms around the House for developing talent and skill of people.

For example, as an excellent carpenter, Uncle Huang taught the children who lived in Er-Kong area how to DIY small carpentries. The room also offered mother who were skilled on cooking a space to share neighbors cooking attainment. Excelled at penmanship granddads might teach children the technique.

Through interaction between community residents, it was able to expand and increase the power and identification of the Tree House. After children and people with different age levels joined the activities, certainly the Er-Kong Tree House would appear more vigorously and vitally.

Expansion of cultural relic collection source.

Before we carried on a succession of interviews, several noticeable red cloth strips showed up in Er-Kong area. They were neither cloth strips that candidates hung out asking for support in election period nor governmental order guidance. They were Huang’s propagandized cloth strips that initiated by Uncle Huang. The strips printed that “People in Er-Kong will not be blank; the cultural relic will last forever”.

The words presented on the red cloth strips made people easily understood the demand and intention of Uncle Huang. To rebuild Er-Kong area would be the consistent direction and policy in next several years.

Therefore, Uncle Huang hoped to expend the idea of cherishing on hand cultural relic within the period. Reminding people submitting the relic to culture protection workers for making the storage and collection properly, it could not only retain these precious relics but also display the biggest historical value for these commonplace cultural relics in the future.

Uncle Huang was not alone.

Recently, more and more people agreed Uncle Huang’s idea and set out with him to hand down the culture of Er-Kong, such as Mr. Jiang Shi Qin. Within the interview duration, Mr. Jiang made a picture anthology for the Er-Kong Tree House, and expected that by sharing his collection to let people know more about the origin and development of the Er-Kong Tree House.

We believed that by way of visible or invisible endeavor that contributed by many people, Er-Kong folks, who worked hard outside of the hometown, would have more reference and spiritual being to rely on when they recalled the hometown style.
