Send off the First Group of Spirits (Pusau ta tjaisngasavuvu)

The third day of the ceremony is for sending back the first group of ancestors' spirits (who did not die of natural causes.) Except the warriors who participate the ball-stabbing would go mountain Hunting in early morning and look for the bark material for rattan balls, every household should prepare sacrifice and gather the offerings at altar to bundle up before noon . Three o'clock in the afternoon, the high priest would leave the Tribe after finishing the sacrificial ceremony. The sacrificial offerings are carried by strong males who are sending off the spirits. They are calling out loudly for the spirits to follow, leading to the direction of east and west. While the parade passes by, every household uses bamboo branch sweeping to avoid bad spirits stay and harass the families. The parade can not return on the same route in order to avoid lingering spirits on the way. When back in altar, cleanse service provided by the high priest will be performed to everyone before they go back home.
