The explanation of the picture: Interview with Miss. Jian, Hui-ling
Present position: the tour guider of the Rui-tai tourist center, scenery management of Alishan national park.
 

Topic 1: what are the methods the scenery management of Alishan national park (briefly, name it Alishan bureau for short) uses to help the community develop the water resource, so far to advance the tourist industry business?

Alishan bureau has insistently pushed the development of the scenery spot of the water resource in Alishan mountain areas. The most successful case nearby is like the viewing platform of Yun-tan waterfall to prevent tourist from falling; the pavement of the butterfly lily stream. In the past it is simply an unknown little stream. However after developing with its local nature of the butterfly ginger, we develop the “pavement of the wild butterfly ginger,” which becomes one of the most well-known touring marks. Besides, around the Rui-feng area, we have already developed ten places where the Zhu-keng stream flow through, building ten bridges with singular characteristic. All of these are the practicable evidences for what Alishan bureau had already done in the past.

Topic 2: how to plan the scenery spot of the community water resource?

If the community wants to develop the scenery spot of the water resource, generally one has to resolve the problems of the land using first. Because Alishan bureau doesn’t take part in the process one earns the using right of the land. After the community gets the using authority, Alishan bureau will check it for the community. If the bureau recognizes the official right of it, it will provide the money to build the project for the neighborhood. In recent times, communities of Rui-feng, Rui-li, and Tai-he assertively strive themselves to quest for the capital to develop. For example, after the village of Rui-feng had already established the “leisure agricultural area,” it requires many bills for developing.

Topic 3: proposition to the development of the water source and tourist visiting spots.

Generally speaking, one should develop the B&B in the beginning. Through the growth of the B&B, he can attract tourists to visit here. The next step to create a center of attention for people is that he should combine the “leisure agriculture,” and “ecological touring.” Through this way, some of the special products can be widely promoted; and the contribution of the environmental protection is the main motivation why people want to spend their time visiting.

Topic 4: Suggestions to sponsor the community's industry's culture on the school.

When I was young, I don’t quite identify about the details of the Rui-feng. As soon as I become the guider, I begin to deeply appreciate the agricultural culture, humanity, history, and the geographical transformation of the community. I personally think that we can put in some teaching effects in education to let student realize more details of the regional characters, and historical transformation. It’s a workable way to let them learn more about their own history. If we add some home town emotions when teaching, we can give confidence for them to become the “little guiders” of Rui-feng area. I believe that it’s the finest way to do the home town education.
