Insects flying in HePing River bank are various.  They grow in natural environment without interference. Teacher XinYing led us to know the trees and plants along the river.  We took pictures one by one and did research on them after we went back.  We found Mulberry, humble plant, plantain, leucaena and terminalia.

Teacher YuTing and the principal showed us how to turn the plants along the river into fun instrument and toys.  Listen! The pod of leucaena can make beautiful sound like “Papa!”

Boys like to find little animals.  Teacher LaHan started finding them living on the river bank with the boys.  They found dragon flies, snails and spiders on the rocks in the river.  In the crevice, we found proreus simulans, and beetles and larvae of stag beetles in the dead wood near the river.
