Through printed fabric, the founders share the local characteristics and eco conscious lifestyle with everyone. The purpose is to awaken people to emphasize how important our environment is and has a positive effect on the society.
◎ Characteristics of Taiwan
Co-founders of InBlooom emphasizes the local connection. Many of the products are made in Taiwan. They find suitable manufacturers locally to cooperate with, such as working with the cloth store in Dadaocheng to make printed fabrics. Pattern design of printed fabrics originated from Formosan stories. They hope more and more people know about indigenous species in Taiwan, such as Crested Myna, through these patterns. In addition, common memories fade away, such as old buildings with tiles and iron bars. At last, sharing the wonderful things in life, such as Taiwanese food, mountains and fireworks.

◎ Environmental Sustainability
InBlooom produces many reusable bags, tableware storage bags and cup carriers in order to reduce the amount of single-use plastics. What’s worse, it would lead to the environmental pollution. To put into practice the philosophy, they use organic cotton and petspun as the fabric. The process of making organic cotton can reduce 98% of water pollution. During the process of making petspun, recycled things by special handling to produce clothes can reduce the environmental pollution
Besides, co-founders of InBlooom emphasizes environmental education as well. In 2017, they held Beach Clean-Up & Art Festival in Zhongjiao Beach, Jinshan District. Before beach cleanup, they led people to think about where the garbage was from. Furthermore, understanding that the garbage on the beach is related to our everyday life.

◎ Community Care
Products of inBlooom are processed by handmade workshop in community. Local workshops includes sunny bubao in Kaohsiung and sewing studio in Chiayi.
After Typhoon Morakot attacking Taiwan in August 2009, Tzu Chi Foundation founded Ta Ai community in Shanlin Township, Kaohsiung District. Because it’s hard for mothers in Shanlin Township to search for jobs in the city, they founded this handmade workshop by themselves. The workshop is close to home, and a piece rate system is more flexible for mothers to make good use of their time, so they can strike a balance between family and work.
Sewing studio in Chiayi is more special than others. It’s composed of single mothers, and most of them are low-income family. They need to take care of children, so they aren’t able to work normally. Like sunny bubao in Kaohsiung, sewing studio in Chiayi is also a piece rate system. In this case, these single mothers can have stable income.
