Classical Patterns
Many of the patterns from printed fabrics are designers¡¦ childhood memories, including things that are disappearing in daily life, such as old tiles, ground glass and window iron gratings. Sometimes, designers draw inspiration from encyclopedia, such as Crested Myna, the endangered indigenous species in Taiwan. Instead of taking inspiration in front of their computer desks, designers visit every corner of Taiwan to find different creative elements and share the aesthetics of everyday life. Every creator has their own distinctive stories about printed fabrics. Welcome to inBlooom to know more about printed fabric with Formosan stories!

¡·Acridotheres Cristatellus Formosanus
Crested Myna with the yellow beak are all exotic species. Instead, Acridotheres cristatellus formosanus are indigenous species in Taiwan, and are classified as protected animals because of few in numbers. Their beaks are ivory white. The number of Crested Myna from exotic species is really surprising, and they compete with indigenous species for habitat. At present, Crested Myna are seriously threatening Acridotheres cristatellus formosanus, so these indigenous species are fewer and fewer.
In the past, people used to keep Crested Myna in front of the gate because they liked to mimic the way people talk. Hence, InBlooom design patterns of Acridotheres cristatellus formosanus. Hoping to tell everyone the stories on this land through the mouth of Crested Myna, and think of inBlooom when seeing this bird.

¡·Black Drongo
Black Drongo, known as Dicrurus macrocercus, is a common native bird in Taiwan. They are territorial, and even raptors that enter their domains would be driven away!

¡·Patterned Glass
The floral patterns draw the inspiration from figured glass in old buildings. Since there was only one glass manufacturer in Taiwan before, it turns out the same pattern on the glass. Therefore, elder people are acquainted with this pattern. However, this kind of figured glass haven¡¦t been produced anymore, so inBlooom design a series of patterned glass patterns so that everyone can remember it. Currently, phone cases, coasters and fabrics are popular with patterned glass patterns. To our surprise, this pattern is particularly popular with Russians, and it is often used in the material of architecture.

¡·Window Iron Gratings
The design of window iron gratings makes us feel nostalgic. During the early days, all households¡¦ windows in Taiwan are all barred in order to prevent thieves. As there¡¦s a very little crime here, it¡¦s few to see windows with iron bars with exquisite patterns on the streets. In fact, windows with iron bars not only have practical meaning to prevent thieves, but also contain folk culture of aesthetics.
