Charity Sale
Charity Sale
Vivianna
and Xiao Yin are the founders of Swaziland Art Educational
Project. In order to raise money for the project, they held
a charity sale on March 29, 2020 in Taoyuan. On that day,
the teacher and us paid a visit to this charity sale in
Taoyuan by train.

Setting up the stand |
At the stand, we saw a variety of Eswatini-based products
displayed. They sold postcards and notebooks with kids¡¦
paintings printed on the cover or pages within. Also, they
sold stickers using images of lovely faces of kids in
Eswatini.

We also interviewed Vivianna at the stand and she introduced
some kids¡¦ artworks to us and shared some stories behind
these kids. At the stand, they also provided the service of
body painting and we couldn¡¦t help giving it a try. First,
we picked a picture we liked. Then the helper at the stand
magically recreated it on our arms or hands. The picture
stayed on the skin for about ten days, and it looked like a
real tattoo. It was so cool.

Paying a visit to this charity sale helps
us know more about kids in Eswatini. Compared with their
lives in Eswatini, we learn to appreciate and cherish what
we have. We admire every member in Swaziland Art Educational
Project and hope in the near future, we can offer our help
to people in need like them.
