Vivianna comes from a middle-class family. She has been very outgoing and energetic since childhood. Unlike most traditional parents in Taiwan, Vivianna’s parents raised her in a quite different way. Her parents cared about not only her academic performance, but also her nonacademic skills. When Vivianna was young, her parents used to take her to go backpacking in Europe. Travelling opens up her world and makes her adaptable to change. In her childhood, her parents signed her up for plenty of creative art classes. Because of these experiences, she can quickly adapt in different environments and keeps an open mind about trying new things. As to her education background, she was graduated from Jieshou Junior High School, Shon-Shan Senior High School and then majored in computer science and engineering in Yuan Ze University. In short, Vivianna is an energetic and passionate girl who writes code, plays computer games and enjoys travelling.

During college, Vivianna was very active. She joined the student union and signed up for TEDxYuanZeU, a curation team working on selecting films and holding exhibitions. Besides, she went to Taitung for a working holiday and even got selected in a program set up by Ministry of Education. With the fund, Vivianna was able to have a long-stay holiday in Taitung and thus collected and reported many touching stories from the local. More than that, she started to be a volunteer, first in Taoyuan and then abroad.
