Volunteer Working Experience
Volunteer Working Experience
From the first year of college,
Vivianna started to work as a volunteer. Because she was a
computer engineering major, she thought being a computer
helper in the department of Social Welfare in Taoyuan would
be a good fit. Later on, she took the job as a computer
teaching assistant in some senior learning centers and
foundations. Besides, she got a chance to be one of a
receptionist in Taoyuan Film Festival in 2016. At that time,
she knew a director from Australia. The director encouraged
Vivianna to keep on writing and try making short films.
After this valuable experience, she realizes English is
hugely important as an international language. From then on,
she seizes every chance to practice her English and
therefore her English is improved a lot afterwards.
When she worked as a volunteer in Bunun tribe village, she
ran into Jin Wen, with whom she had a long-stay holiday in
Taitung. They together reported many touching stories.

To everyone¡¦s surprise, Vivianna¡¦s first volunteer work
abroad was signed up by her mom. Her mom hoped that this
experience may expand her horizons. When Vivianna was in
Cambodia, she and other members set up several stations with
group activities. She saw with her own eyes that
volunteering as a coach or even as a friend can
significantly give kids the comfort and confidence they need
when going through a difficult time. During the stay in
Cambodia, she met other volunteers and they promised each
other to be volunteers again in Eswatina.
