1.Malayan night heron

Scientific name: Gorsachius melanolophus
Description: The Malayan night heron is about 48 cm long.It is stocky, with a short beak. Its neck and breast are rufous. There are streaks going down the centre of the neck to the breast. The upperparts are chestnut and vermiculated. The flight feathers are blackish. The crown is black, the chin is white, and the eyes are yellow.

Scientific name: Milvus migrans
Description: A black kite is about 58-69 cm long. It has a forked tail and generally dark plumage.

Description: The male has a dark brown crown, grey head sides and black throat stripes. The pale underparts are patterned with rufous streaks on the breast and bars on the belly. The inner wing feathers are white.

Description: It’s about 28~32 cm long. The ground color of this long and slim dove is rosy buff, grey on the head and belly. The wing feathers are dark brown with grey edges. The centre of the abdomen is white. The outer tail feathers are tipped in white.

Scientific name: Otus lettia
Description: It’s about 23cm~25 cm long. The upperparts are grey or brown, depending on the subspecies, with faint buff spotting. The underparts are buff with fine darker streaking. The facial disc is whitish or buff, and the eyes are orange or brown. Sexes are similar.
7.Taiwan barbet
Conservation status: ★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Psilopogon nuchalis
Description: A Taiwan barbet is mostly green. The Chinese name for the bird means "five-colored bird", referring to the five colors on its plumage. It is about 20 cm long.
Subspecies: Endemic to Taiwan.
