1.Light-vented bulbul

Scientific name: Pycnonotus sinensis
Description:The light-vented bulbul has a white color from the back of its eyes to the back of its head. It is about 19 cm long.
Subspecies: Found in Taiwan.
2.Taiwan barbet
Conservation status: ★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Psilopogon nuchalis
Description: A Taiwan barbet is mostly green. The Chinese name for the bird means "five-colored bird", referring to the five colors on its plumage. It is about 20 cm long.
Subspecies: Endemic to Taiwan.
3.Black bulbul
Conservation status: ★★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Hypsipetes leucocephalus
Description: The black bulbul is 24–25 cm in length. The body plumage ranges from grey to black. The beak, legs, and feet are all orange.
Subspecies: Found in Taiwan.
4.Long-tailed shrike
Conservation status: ★★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Lanius schach
Description: A long-tailed shrike has a narrow and long tail. The dark mask through the eye is broad and covers the forehead, and the whole head is black.
5.Red collared dove
Conservation status: ★★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Streptopelia tranquebarica
Description: The male has a bluish head and light red-brown body with a black ring around its neck, while the female is similar but pinkish all over.
Migratory Birds
1.Pale thrush(winter migratory bird)

Scientific name: Turdus pallidus
Description: It is 23 cm long. The feet are pale pinkish-brown and the bill is grey above and yellow below. The male is brown above with a blue-grey head and throat.
2.Eurasian teal(winter migratory bird)
Conservation status: ★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Anas crecca
Description: The Eurasian teal 34–43 cm length. In non-breeding (eclipse) plumage, the drake looks more like the hen; it is more uniform in colour, with a dark head and vestigial facial markings.
3.Grey heron(winter migratory bird)

Scientific name: Ardea cinerea
Description: The grey heron is 84–102 cm in length. It has a pinkish-yellow beak. Adults have a broad black supercilium that terminates in the slender, dangling crest, and bluish-black streaks on the front of the neck.

Scientific name: Platalea minor
Description: The black-faced Spoonbill is 74~85 cm in length. It is a large white wading bird with a flattened, black bill.
5.Cattle egret(summer migratory bird)
Conservation status: ★ (Least Concern)
Scientific name: Bubulcus ibis
Description: The cattle egret is 50 cm in length. The nonbreeding adult has mainly white plumage, a yellow bill, and greyish-yellow legs. During the breeding season, adults of the nominate western subspecies develop orange-buff plumes on the back, breast, and crown.
