History of the 12 tracks: The Roundhouse is an arc-shaped roundhouse with 12 tracks radially distributed, which was designed to repair steam trains in the past, and used to park, repair and maintain steam locomotives. During the war against Japan, 12 tracks were severely damaged by machine gun shooting. The declining roundhouse was revived through the support of railway fans. There were only 5 tracks (no.3-8) at the beginning, but as more and more trains entered Changhua Roundhouse, more tracks were built one by one. Now there are 12 tracks . |
