Content  Today, we rode bicycles with our alumni, Dr. Wenzong Chen. In the beginning, we chose bicycles. After a little practice, we start our course. First stop, Dr. Chen introduced a small shop where he used to buy candied kumquat . He said that the small gully sealed by the roadside cement was where he used to catch Walking catfish. Later, we went around the farmland again to see the small river ditch that used to catch Mosquitofish. Unfortunately, there are no fish now! At the second stop, we reached his secret base where he used to catch butterflies and dragonflies. I thought it was very interesting. The third stop, we came to the intersection of the old and new dikes. Dr. Chen said that as long as the typhoon came, the old dike would be washed away by the soaring river. Sometimes the typhoon was too strong, the roof of the house would be lifted. People must rush to the concrete tower of the neighbor's house to take refuge. We went down to the old embankment as if we are exploring in a secret place. Lots of beggars-ticks, foxtails and reeds. Our last stop was Datou Park. On the way back to school, one of schoolmates almost fell over three times. Because he felt that the joke his classmate said was too funny. I wish he was all right! Today, I learn about Shezi Island with Dr. Chen. It’s great. I am looking forward to the next time when Dr. Chen take us to make earth oven.
