The Junior Corp visited Mrs. Qiu in her Literature and History studio in Yuanlin on weekends. It is not far away from Xing Xian academy of classical learning and it is a cozy and amazing place. There are a lot of traditional Hakka antiquities collections and Hakka culture files tidily placed in three big filing cabinets. It is undeniable that Mrs. Qiu put her heart fully into what she has been doing. She has also got many trophies that take down the praise given to her. As the Junior Corp members’ admiration for Mrs. Qiu had piled up, they gathered around her and raised many questions.

Mrs. Qiu has got piles of academic qualifications, work experience copies, certifications, certificates of merit, media coverage of her, and her literature and history works. Mrs. Qiu gave an air of a real storyteller which really carried along the Junior Corp when they listened to her narration. Her devotion is something that we have to learn. Reading the life of Mrs. Qiu, we see a dreamer who lives it out. From a single-parent child who came from a low-income family, through hard work, she turned the tide; from a girl who did not know herself as a Hakka, she became the only Raoping accent Master in Changhua County and wrote books on her township history. She revived her mother tongue, which had almost been lost for half a century. She developed an oasis in the desert and literally lived it out!
