Solar cell components
Is the main component of silicon solar cells on the market at present, there are 3 kinds of:
1 single crystal silicon
2 multi crystalline silicon
3 non crystalline silicon
Dye sensitized solar cells
Material: glass
(1): cathode carbon coated conductive glass
(2): the negative electric conductive glass surface coating of titanium dioxide colloidal solution
(3) potassium iodide solution
The experimental process:
The first conductive glass use alcohol cleaning, and using three meter measuring the conductive surface, then tape fixed conductive glass (conductive up), then mixed TiO2 powder and nitric acid solution, coating a conductive surface in the conductive glass, wait for dry, after put into the oven for about 20 minutes, after N3 hours after the dye with alcohol cleaning, then another piece of conductive glass coated with a layer of carbon on the conductive surface, placing the heating plate for 5 minutes, and then a pair of scissors in conductive glass into the paraffin wax after sticking to carbon coated text font on the other configuration of potassium iodide solution, covering the titanium dioxide film dipped on the dye, put two pieces of clamp, from paraffin wax film text font drops in potassium iodide solution after be accomplished.
Principle :
Both positive and negative conductive surface is facing the same direction,dropped the electrolyte in the middle. When sunlight dye electrons will absorb sunlight energy, form a loop, electrons leave from the dye by solar energy, the last dye will form a current.
