Extended reading: Reasons for fostering
Requires fostering for one of following circumstances:
1. Families with economic hardships or lack of support
2. Children from unmarried parents or abandoned children
3. Family in serious imbalance and children who cannot live together with their natural parents
4. Father or mother with serious illness and requires prolonged treatment
5. Father or mother serving prison terms and cannot take care of their children
6. Parents who are incapable of or unsuitable for taking care of their children
7. Children or adolescents under oppression and require immediate arrangement for effective protection
8. Children adjudicated by the juvenile court that requires delinquent education
Presently the source of fostering service programs of Changhua Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF) mainly comes from children and adolescents transferred from Changhua County Government.
