Li Mei-li has assumed the director of Beitou District Office for eight years. She has devoted herself in social welfare, park management, civil service, etc. With her abundant knowledge of local history and culture, she holds cultural exhibitions and events for local tourism and products, such as promoting hot spring and tangerines.

She has not only done well on marketing but also showcased the high quality hot spring to the world. These efforts make Beitou as a must go place in Taiwan. More and more hotels has been built in Beitou which contributes to the local economic growth. Tourism combines with the pottery art , as well as the cooperation with school, Beitou hopefully could regain its place as a pottery town.

Reflection:

Today, director of District Office taking the time for our interview, we feel she is so sincere and enthusiastic. Miss Li first thanks our seniors work such as "Beitou Tankan" web which is so critically acclaimed, therefore Yangmingshan (old name Grassy) farmers the barrel orange has very good sales in these two years. We found she is very busy, but she still active in hosting and participating in each and every activity in Beitou area such as "Beitou Spa Season", "Tankan Season" and other activities, raise awareness, and spread far and wide around the world, We hope that with the director's support our "Blissful Beitou Pottery" activity will promote Beitou pottery continuously and rise as a new star among the world.
