The Introduction and Experience of Bass Instruments
Cello
The cello is a stringed musical instrument and mostly used for bass. In the performances of traditional music, it is often used to replace the dihu and the gehu. In the past, the performer needed to clamp it by legs and played it while sitting. Now, the instrument can stand with a foot stand. Its height can be adjusted according to the height of its performer, which brings the playing techniques of the cello to an unprecedented level.
Experience Sharing
I thought the cello was heavy so it needed to be placed on the ground. But when I held it, I realized it was very light. While pulling the strings, I could hear the low sounds produced by the strings and the body.

Contrabass
The contrabass has the lowest pitch and the biggest appearance in the violin family. Due to its long length of 200cm, one needs to stand and play it. Its sounds are solemn and deep. If it is used in solo, the sounds may be a bit monotonous. But if it is used in ensembles, it can enrich the tone of the entire piece and produce three-dimensional sound effects.
Experience Sharing
I thought the contrabass and the cello were similar instruments, but after striking its strings, I realized that they had many differences. One needs to stand to play the contrabass. Its sounds are lower and deeper, while the sounds of the cello are mellower and fuller.
