Introduction to the Crew Members

Before participating in the Cyberfair, I had no clue for the project design and planning of the Cyberfair. However, after the discussions and visits for the several months, I deeply understood that: Learning could be diversified! Though we encountered not a few difficulties and setbacks, we overcame them one by one. The experience of making interviews and records, asking questions, and gathering information could not be learned in the classroom.

This Cyberfair project, “A Journey to Traditional Music”, has unique significance. I was shocked for my first experience of listening to the live performance of traditional music. We exerted great efforts for this Cyberfair project, organized data regularly in the library, decided the project content, designed questionnaires for each elementary school, and analyzed the feedback of the questionnaires in detail. We hope that our efforts will not be wasted. And our work will be praised.

What impressed me the most was the beginning of the interviews. I needed to think of many questions and often forgot the words. But gradually, after I got used to them, I found that interviews were relaxing. Sometimes, I could not find my interviewees. And sometimes, it was a bit embarrassing that I interviewed the wrong guy. At that moment, I quickly shifted the topic to reduce the embarrassment. Though the interviews were not easy and I needed to write much project content, I felt indescribably rewarding when seeing the completion of our work.

I thought it was a lot of trouble to do the Cyberfair project, but after several interviews and listening to live orchestral music, I slowly fell in love with traditional music and the way of interviews. I was glad that I had participated in the project which was more rewarding than I had expected.
