I had done the data research of Yuanlin Township delicious food for several days, which was all computer and paper homework. In these days, I finished the homework with my mouth watering. Today, I would do the field survey finally! How exciting news it is!

Before enjoying the delicious food, we had to go to visit Town Mayor Chin-kun Chang. We had great fun on our way there, which felt like an excursion. I bet our teacher must have a headache at that time. Yeah! Through one hour interview, all the prepared questions were asked in the end. At that time, we were all very hungry, so we walked very quickly and went to the legendary clam noodle shop. I thought I would fall unconscious, but to my surprise, we went there in about ten minutes.

We ordered sweet potato leaves, dried tofu, kelp, small dried fish and clam noodle, the most classic one. Maybe we were too hungry or the food was too delicious, all the food on the table was eaten up in a very short time. I loved clam noodle very much, which had deep and sweet seafood smell while eating. The carrot noodle was also very delicious, and I hoped that my mother would take me here again. I bet it would not be bored with eating it every day.

I have worked on the webpage in the computer classroom for several days, and I was excited that today we would have outdoor teaching finally. Wow!The task of today was to visit the town mayor and have a taste of clam noodle. Both activities were new and fun, especially having a taste of clam noodle, which I have expected very much. Actually, it is a little embarrassed to say that I have never tried such delicious food in my life.

This clam noodle shop, located in Wannian Rd. near Zhongshan Rd., had a long history. Although the shopfront looked old, it was very clean. The teacher told us that the noodle in this shop is made of green carrots and apples, and the ingredients in there were clam, noodles, and green vegetables. We also added sweet potato leaves, dried tofu and small dried fish. The owner said that we were very lucky because we were treated a plate of pork cheek by our friends. Every dish was very delicious and I gave them all thumbs up, especially the noodle soup, which was very appetizing and sweet. I loved the lunch very much, and this was a rewarding trip. How nice if I had could eat delicious food every day!
