In the Activity center on the fifth floor, we taught two classes of six grade to sew rabbit bunny.

Our thoughts:

Yi-ping Liu

I was not able to do anything in the beginning. But with the teacher’s explanation and dad’s help, I finally fished the rabbit bunny. As I had done it before teaching students, I was very clear about the students’ questions. I felt happy and fulfilled.

 

Jin-yu Chen

Through this experience I came to know the joy of sewing, as well as the hardships of workers.

 

Chi-yuan Huang

I came to know that I took such a long time to finish a toy. I felt fulfilled upon finishing. Now I can teach others how to do it.

 

Ya-guan Wang

Although my sewing skills were not good, it was enough for teaching six graders. It was so difficult even to make a toy. So we were able to imagine it must be more difficult for the aunts who worked in sewing workshops. They had to make hundreds of clothes everyday. I really admire them.

 

An-peng Wu

It was very tiring to teach others, as I didn’t know it very well myself. If not for the time limit, I believe everyone should be able to finish his own rabbit bunny.

 

Xin Ouyang

When I saw that the six grades were not able to use needles and threads, I realized how great those sewing workers were. They had to start to work after primary school. Maybe it was just the different generations. We are not actually very lucky as we don’t have to work at such an early age. We have to cherish it.

 

Ting-yu Li

After this event, I realized the hardships of sewing workshop workers. I was very tired just finishing the toy. My eyes became sore. The workers had to make hundreds of clothes everyday. There eyes must hurt a lot. I realized every job is not easy.

 

 

Ya-ting Tsao

 We were very tired just making a toy, let alone making clothes. I admire the aunts in workshops as they can finish many clothes everyday.
