Hello! I am a member of 2015 Cyberfair project and my name is Chi-yuan Huang. I am 13 and I like singing and learning knowledge. My dream is to be a teacher. There are two reasons why I joined this Cyberfair project. First is because of the teacher’s recommendation. Second reason is my interest. I wanted to keep up with the senior students. I thought it would be easy, but then I found I had to spend a lot of time to do research. This Cyberfair project made me know about the past glory of Luzhou and the decay of garment industry. We wish that through our study, the decaying garment industry can regain its past glory.
Hello everyone, I am Bao-le Chen. My favorite thing is to read books and play computer. So I would go to the library when I have time. I live in New Taipei City Luzhou District with my dad, mum and my elder sister. I came to this Cyberfair project because of the computer teacher’s invitation. He asked me to consider about it and to register at the Office of Teaching Affairs the next day if I was interested. I went home and asked my mum. She though it should not be bad since the works of elder brothers and sisters win awards. She hoped I would join it. So I registered the next day. After joining in Cyberfair project, I found that I have been faster in typing. This is amazing. Maybe it is because that I practice often.

Hello, everyone! My name is An-peng Wu, a busy grade 5 student. I am very glad to join the 2015 Cyberfair project. Why did I join it?’ because I thought research would be interesting and I would be able to study our local cultures and features with the senior students. I felt happy about it. My hobby is to chat, sing, listen to music, do sports, read books, and learn skills. I get along well with my classmates and I am good at study. I am just too busy as I have too many skill learning classes. Yeah, about 6 kinds of classes. Some people say I am too busy and my health may suffer. I enjoy this busy life. Once I feel relaxed, I want to do something. I simply cannot settle. Although I don’t have much time, I still spent a lot of time on Cyberfair project as I waned to make a website that was touching and eye-catching and won awards for our school. Come on!

Hello! My name is Ya-guan Wang. I am very glad to join this Cyberfair project with you. My hobby is to read books, swim and play flute. I like to read fiction, romance and historic books. I also like to play flutes with friends. My original dream was to be a teacher. After I saw a movie about the Egyptian pyramid, I thought it would be nice to be an archeologist as well. To be an archeologist, you have to have a pursuit for knowledge. So I have to work hard. I would remember all the disputes until I find the right answer. This is also why I joined this Cyberfair project. I want to know our home culture better. I am very glad to be in this association with all the students.

Hello, everyone, my name is Jin-yu Chen. I am 13. I am very glad to join this Cyberfair project. I was curious in the first place and joined because of the encouragement of the teacher and mum. When it was close to the end, I found myself liked it a lot. My hobby is to read books, like history books and fictions. I gained much experience from this Cyberfair project and learned that in the silent alleys there was the garment industry. It enjoyed a short prosperity in the past. I wish through our web pages people will know more about our garment industry.

Hi!  I am Ouyang from Lu Jiang Elementary School Class 6 Class 8. I have big sparkling eyes and round face. So many would like to pinch me. It hurts, but I have been used to it since we are all friends. I am pretty good at school, but I am a little forgetful and careless. Why did I join Cyberfair project? I am bad at computer and typing. I wanted to have a try. It turned out to be fun. I worked with the members on the study of this topic. We wrote afterthoughts together. We presented the glorious past of garment industry and workers’ hardships in sewing workshops to the people. I also enriched my own knowledge base. This was a good experience. I wish we can win the prize.

Hello. My name is Yi-ping Liu, from Lu Jiang Elementary School grade 6. My hobby is to play computer and listen to music. I like Korean stars very much. I joined the Cyberfair project because of the teacher’s recommendation. I was also curious about it. Although it was difficult in the beginning and I once thought of giving up, but I felt I should not do so when I saw others working hard. We are close to the end and our topic is the sewing workshops in the alleys. In the beginning I thought it was boring. I my fighting will was aroused by others’ hard work. I wish our result can be even better than that of senior students. I wish more people will know the past glory of garment factories and workers’ hardships through our website. Come on! Fighting!

Hello! I am Po-ta Chen, 13 year old.  I like to read books and dance. I read novels, fictions, cartoons and so on. I started to love dancing in grade 3 when my mum took me to the dancing class. I also like to play piano. I dream is to become the president and do good things to the people of our nation. I want to reserve the beauty of Taiwan cultures and make another economic miracle. That’s why I came to Cyberfair project. This was my first time to join it. It was not only an experience but also a response to the elder students. This was also about the sense of responsibility as a student of Lu Chiang Elementary School, but a mission to protect the history of Luzhou. Our topic is “The Sewing Workshops in Alleys”. It represented the glorious past of Luzhou and Sanchung and showed the hardworking spirits of Taiwanese women. However. Over time, high-tech industries have taken over. The garment industry in Luzhou and Sanchung has decayed. We want to use this topic to awaken people’s memory about the past glory of Luzhou and make more people see the beauty of Luzhou’s cultures. This is the spirit of Cyberfair project.

Hello, I am Ya-ting Tsao. Why did I attend Cyberfair project? At first I was influenced by elder students and thought it was funny. I could also learn extracurricular knowledge and make friends this way. So I called on two classmates (Ouyang and An-peng Wu) register for Cyberfair project. I like to play computer, but I was not fast in typing. The more I type, the more I got tired. I found myself faster in typing after I joined Cyberfair project. Although it takes me a lot of time, it can give me knowledge and other gains. I wish we can get the Platinum Award this time.

Hello! I am Ting-yu Li, from Lu Jiang Elementary School. I am a grade 6 student and a member of 2015 Cyberfair project. Doing research is interesting. It is a happy thing to discuss with others. That’s why I came here. At first time, I thought it would be easy. But later, I found a little bit difficult and had to spend a lot of time on it. Then, I had a sense of fulfillment. That was perhaps because I was typing afterthoughts everyday and my writing improved. I can also type faster now. I am happy I can be in this project and write afterthoughts with you. My knowledge has been enriched.

Hello. We are the teachers of Cyberfair project. To be honest, not only the students found it hard, but us as well. We had to guide their study throughout the whole semester. Amongst all the hardships, there were also surprises and happiness. When you were devoted, you would find that you did not really comprehend something. It was all our subjective observations and understanding. Just like students, we have also gained a lot. Especially when the works were completed, we felt a sense of fulfillment. It was quite touching.
