Today, we went to Active Ageing Learning Center to interview the grandmas who used to make clothes. Below is the interview record.

Ms. Chen became an apprentice since graduating from junior high. It was the beginning of her 40 years of clothes-making in family workshops. She made the whole suit of clothes instead of parts.

Q1.Have you ever worked in the garment industry?
A1.Yes.
Q2.Why did you want to learn patchwork?
A2.Patchwork is different from making clothes.
Q3.When did you start to learn patchwork?
A3.From this semester.
Q4.what was the most difficult product you’ve ever made?
A4.Bag.
Q5.Why do you think it is difficult?
A5.You had to sew it slowly.

Q6.Have you ever been injured?
A6: More or less.
Q7.What is your thought about patchwork?
A7.I have a sense of accomplishment when finish a product.

A8.Yes.
Q9.What was the most unforgettable product?
A9.Bag.
Q10.Although it is a hobby, but do you think it is tiresome?
