President Cheng and his wife
President Cheng visited timepiece retailers for deal prospects, but often to no avail. Nevertheless, he made it a rule to at least visit 15 retailers a day, and to pay regular visits even after being declined. Some time later one of the retailers, seeing President Cheng time and again approach him with deals and offers, decided to buy just one used watch, enabling Cheng to finally make one miniscule sale. After three weeks into this new job, President Cheng felt that he wasn’t quite cut out for this line of work, and unwilling to accept a salary for which he contributed next to nothing, he quit and left.
