On August 25th , 2014, we went to Immaculate Heart Center for Mentally Handicapped to be volunteers. Our classmates were divided into several groups. Some cleaned the toilets, windows and stairs in the building, some wiped the balls in the ball pool and some swept the school bus. While we were cleaning the ball pool, a social worker reminded us to rub each ball. So we spent a lot of time on this job!

The windows were very dirty because a typhoon had just hit the central part of Taiwan. So the towels were very dirty after we wiped these windows. We needed to wash them with great strength. Finally, we cleaned up all the windows without any dust.
Wu junyi and Chang yongjyun were wiping the leaves away on the windows.
There were a lot of leaves on stairs, and dust on the handrails. My classmates were sweeping slowly and carefully for each step and even the corners.
Chang mengyuan was sweeping away the dust on the corners.
After finishing the cleaning for the ball pool, we hurried to the front yard and cleaned the van cars which were used to pick up the kids every day. My dear classmates looked very charming while they were holding the brooms and rags.
Chang yongjyun was trying to sweep garbage out of the car.
Though it was a very tiring job, we were very happy to provide them a very clean and comfortable environment.
