Waling into Eco-Educational Area, you can see Herb garden at first sight. The main species in the garden is herb. There are always some weeds grow because all the herb grow without using chemical pesticide. Some weeds are toxic, so please don't pick or consume any plants in the garden, it may cause accidental poisoned due to misunderstanding.

　　This garden is adopted by the volunteers. There are hundreds of herbs, the common ones are Flowery Knotweed, Goji, Shiso, Chinese Mesona, Chameleon Plant, Sessile joyweed and Blood-flower Milkwee etc. Also there are four signs says,"Watch," "Hear," "Ask," and "Touch", which is a Chinese diagnosis method.

　　The artificial wetland in Green Camp is simulation of natural wetland. The wasted water from the camping place is processed by natural ecosystem, which is one of Eco- Engineering. The artificial wetland is designed and constructed under calculation and management which can process the wasted water produced by 200 people from the camping place. There are three pools, the first one is subsurface flow system, which is used sand soil and cobblestone as medium; the pool process the wasted water by absorption, sedimentation, filtration and purification. The second pool is free water surface system, which planted dense aquatic plants; when the wasted water flow through the plants' stem and root, the impurities from the water will be absorbed and purified. The third pool is landscape pool. After filtration and purification of previous pools, the purified water flow into this pool. There are many landscape plants grow in the third pool.

　　The purified water will be the resource to ecological pool. The water is clean which attracts many creatures to searching food and habitation. Also the water's purity reaches the emission standards.

　　Now the artificial wetland is used for restoration of aquatic firefly, Aquatica ficta. To avoid from disturbances and destruction by people. The restoration pool is not available; however, visitors can still see it outside the gate.

　　Wild is full of plants, some are edible. The more you know, the more you can use them. For example, you can add plants in your meal while camping, or when vegetable price is increased after typhoon, you can choose to eat natural plants instead.

　　Nevertheless, recognize the plants before you pick them, so that you won't consume toxic plants with similar appearance of edible ones. Additionally, The weed killer is usually applied on the road side or parks by clean staff. Check is there any clean program recently to make sure the food safety. This garden is an educational garden which presents common wild vegetables for visitor and students.

　　The farm applied organic farming which is chemical fertilizer and pesticide free. The farming is voluntary job, which adopted by Camp guides. The farm is demonstration for educational purpose not for production, hence, the number of crops are less but various. There are signs strand next to every crops. The visitors can be guided by the signs, or chat with the volunteers in the morning and afternoon.
